Nice to meet you!

Why we started

With our roots in Frankfurt and close ties to Chicago, we blend German precision, directness, and pragmatism, with American openness and drive. We studied and lived the consulting industry, and from the start one thing was clear: too often, the work lacked substance. Clients were billed hundreds an hour to format recycled PowerPoints, add fancy frameworks, and throw buzzwords around - but creating real value? Solving real problems? Thinking for our clients, their stakeholders, and ultimately bottom lines? Secondary.

Out of frustration with an industry that overpromises and underdelivers, we built Weltgeist Advisory as a different kind of consultancy: one that values clarity over show, impact over marketing, and results over billed hours.

How we work

At our core, we believe people are the true drivers of every business’ success. Yet, in many organizations, crucial insights never reach decision-makers, often withheld out of fear of losing one’s job, or being reprimanded. The result is leaders are forced to make decision with an incomplete picture, harming both the business and the very people who hold the answers. Our first goal is to capture the full picture across all stakeholders and surface the hidden truths about why companies aren’t reaching their potential. Only then can we start developing strategy.

“People first” also means trust first. We build it by being genuine and transparent. Leaders and employees alike can sense when consultants arrive with empty terminology rather than meaningful intent, which creates defensiveness and “change resistance.” Our approach is different: we act as a neutral partner, working alongside all stakeholders to co-create the environment they need. In short, we make organizations change ready.

Trust also means discretion. Our policy is non-negotiable: we never publish client details or revealing information — and never will.

What we deliver

Our approach is both evidence-based and human-centered. Data and analytics are powerful in the quantitative space, but the social sciences give us equally rigorous tools for the qualitative realm. We use surveys not as an end in themselves, but as a first step to sense sentiment and frame better questions. From there, deep interviews surface common themes and uncover what truly drives (or blocks) performance.

You bring us the symptoms; our job is to uncover the root cause. No issue exists in isolation. We take a holistic view: Spanning people, incentives, communication, power dynamics, leadership, systems, processes, and workflows, etc. to tailor solutions that fit your unique business context.

Our aim is to identify negative feedback loops and transform them into positive, reinforcing ones that unlock sustainable, compounding growth. Often, this means working with you over time; monitoring progress, adjusting strategies, and ensuring change takes root.

Our Mission

To uncover the truths organizations can’t see, connect people & systems with clarity, and deliver evidence-based solutions that create measurable impact - not slides, not buzzwords - results.

Our Vision

A business world where decisions are made with the full picture, where trust replaces politics, and where human potential aligns with systems to unlock sustainable growth.

Behind name and logo

The name Weltgeist — “world spirit” — comes from German thinkers like Hegel and Goethe, who used it to describe the invisible forces shaping culture, history, and progress. We see organizations in much the same way: not as isolated structures, but as living systems shaped by both visible actions and hidden dynamics.

Our logo reflects this idea. The ghost rising from Earth and reaching for the stars represents the search for clarity and possibility beyond the immediate surface. It symbolizes moving past constraints, uncovering what is hidden, and aiming higher. For us, it’s a reminder that lasting impact comes from understanding the deeper forces at play — and helping organizations align them toward growth.
